Graff. A Diamond, Ruby and Gold ‘Secret Halo’ Wristwatch. Estimate: $30,000-50,000.

Surprise. I adore lot 27, Graff’s Diamond and Ruby 'Secret Halo' Wristwatch. This jewel is elegant and modern, with simple geometric lines. As a bracelet, few know the lid conceals a hidden pave diamond watch. Graff’s intense passion and emotional connection to gemstones is evident; the diamonds have been cut to maximize their beauty and the rubies are lively, a rich and seductive red, all perfectly matched. Easy to wear, paired with a black or white blazer for dinner or with the quintessential black dress this ‘Secret Halo’ watch is mine.

David Webb. A Gold 'Gemini' Brooch/Pendant. Estimate: $2,500-3,500.

I love lot number 46, an 18k yellow gold chased and hammered Gemini Zodiac pendant by David Webb. The time is now (May 20 - June 20) when the liveliest of air signs reign supreme. Energetic, curious, adaptable and kind, Gemini’s are symbolically represented by twins Castor and Pollux, known in Greek mythology as the Dioscuri. I think we all know a Gemini that would wear this pendant with pride!

Robert Procop. A Pair of Citrine and Gold 'Style of Jolie' Earrings. Estimate: $20,000-30,000.

These contemporary citrine earrings from the Style of Jolie collection by Robert Procop are beautifully made and a personal favorite of mine from the designer. Evoking a post-war retro esthetic, they can be paired with estate and contemporary jewelry and I love that versatility. Bezel set in 18k yellow gold, the massive elongated step cut citrines are warm and vibrant. A modern interpretation of an enduring classic.

Marina B. A Gold 'Atomo' Necklace. Estimate: $6,000-8,000.

Marina Bulgari designed the versatile and timeless ‘Atomo’ collection in the late 1980s with female empowerment in mind. Gone were the days of dainty jewelry; women could choose to wear a bold piece that would make a statement when they walked into the room. Not much has changed in the more than 30 years since the collection debuted – the pieces attract an audience of strong women who exude confidence and beauty. The ‘Atomo’ necklace (Lot 65) is made of lightweight, hollow, unthreaded gold beads. It can be worn with either a little black dress or a t-shirt and jeans, making it a favorite of mine.
