Phillips Watches recently wrapped its Spring 2025 auctions – and the numbers don’t lie.
Six auctions. Three continents. Over 800 watches sold. The season brought in $113.8 million, placing it as the fourth-highest total in Phillips Watches history.

$113.8 Million
That’s the total across all six sales. It’s more than $40 million ahead of Phillips’ nearest competitor.
839 Lots Sold
Out of 848 offered. A 99% sell-through rate by lot. Only nine watches went unsold. In the auction world, that’s nearly unheard of.
11 Million-Dollar Watches
Phillips sold more timepieces above $1 million than any other house this season. Independents, clocks, and fresh-to-market rarities all broke the million-dollar mark.
$178,000 Average (Live Sales)
This is the average price per lot in our Geneva, Hong Kong, and New York live auctions. When factoring in online sales, the average landed at $135,500 – still the highest in the industry.
182% of Low Estimate
Our three live auctions soared past our expectations. Final totals hit 182% of the combined low estimate and 95% of the high.
45% Global Market Share
Phillips captured nearly half of the spring 2025 watch auction market.
2,000+ Active Clients, 80+ Countries
Participation hit new highs. More than 2,000 clients registered across six sales, with over 80 countries represented. Eighty-five percent of bidders took part online.
35% First-Time Buyers
One in three buyers was new to Phillips Watches.
