Introduced in 1997, the Patek Philippe Aquanaut ref. 5060 marked a bold departure for the venerable maison as its first timepiece to feature a rubber strap. Building on this legacy, the present ref. 5066A-010 represents a rare and highly collectible iteration of the Aquanaut, crafted exclusively for the Japanese market in a limited production of approximately 1,000 pieces.
This stainless steel Japan Limited Edition distinguishes itself with its striking vivid blue dial and matching blue rubber strap, a design that exudes both modernity and sophistication. Powered by the robust self-winding Caliber 330 SC, the movement is elegantly displayed through a sapphire caseback, showcasing Patek Philippe’s unwavering commitment to horological excellence.
As one of the earliest Patek Philippe sports models created exclusively for Japan, the Ref. 5066A-010 holds a special place in the brand’s history and remains a coveted treasure among collectors.
