As Cataloguer in the Jewellery department in New York, this position is primarily responsible for cataloguing and contributing to all aspects of the catalogue production process for Jewellery Sales for New York. This position will also be responsible for producing Jewellery appraisals/valuations. This position will report to the Specialist, Head of Sale to support selling the New York sales and Jewellery auctions worldwide. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bids & Post-Sale Manager to join Phillips. This role involves overseeing the bid process, ensuring seamless experience for our clients, guiding the bids coordinator, and managing post-sale activities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, leadership and organization skills, a deep understanding of auctions, and a passion for exceptional customer service.

For Bids, the manager is responsible for maintaining data quality control, providing customer service and overseeing bids initiatives and training. The position focuses on continuous improvement, close monitoring of service levels, and identifying opportunities to enhance service efficiency. The manager will design and implement training modules to support the team.

The manager is also responsible for overseeing all activities related to the after-sales process. Being the main contact for internal and external clients for a portfolio of sales in respect of post-sale client management and owning all escalated issues. This role requires managing client relationships, coordinating logistics, and ensuring that clients receive the items they have purchased in a timely and professional manner. Your ability to problem-solve and communicate effectively with various stakeholders will be crucial to your success in this position.

Acting as a Specialist in the Jewellery department in New York, this position will be responsible for business getting primarily for Jewellery Sales for New York as well as for other sales centers depending on the type of property sourced for sale. Reporting to the Worldwide Head of Jewellery this position will also produce appraisals/valuations, contribute to sale proposals, and to aspects of the sale production as needed. The Specialist is also responsible for selling the New York sales by developing a network of collectors and dealers, as well as assisting with selling auctions worldwide. This position is responsible for fulfilling fine art framing needs for Specialist Departments.

The primary function of this role is to assist in spearheading business getting for worldwide sales and assist with business development opportunities in Indonesia, and more widely across Southeast Asia. While Indonesia is the preferred location for this role, other Southeast Asian locations will also be considered. The position will require the incumbent to cultivate networks among collectors, dealers, curators and others across all collecting categories, including Modern and Contemporary Art, Watches and Jewelry; as well as evaluate works, bring in consignments, and sell works across the different disciplines. This role will also assist the necessary internal departments with Client Development, Client Liaison and Events and Marketing responsibilities for Asia.
