The Associate Specialist in the Modern and Contemporary Art Department in New York will be responsible for supporting Heads of Sale and Specialists with overseeing and managing Core sales through valuations, cataloguing and research.  In addition, the role will involve working with Specialists to bring in business and cultivating new long-term business relationships with private and trade buyers, sellers and institutions. The Associate Specialist will also act as Head of Sale at least once a year, as needed. The Technician works closely with the Head technician and full time technician and various stakeholders towards the day to day safe handling, installation / de-installation and packing of Phillips property in line with the sales, exhibitions and events schedule. The role will be required to work from our London gallery in Berkeley Square with travel to our London Warehouse.

Leads the planning, messaging, and execution of Phillips’ global CRM email, SMS marketing and App push campaigns. TEAM STRUCTURE

The Senior Specialist will be responsible for business getting primarily for the designated department as well as for other sales centers depending on the type of property/collection sourced for sale.
