- Well-known for his unconventional designs in his watches, such as the steampunk-style perpetual calendar Antiqua, and his incredible watchmaking skills, his works are always highly sought after by collectors that fancy indie watches without the constraints of commercial watch brands. Beginning with the Antiqua and followed by the Classic and Trio, Halter along with his then design partner Barnes, developed a personal and instantly recognizable design language, which he has adeptly applied to the Le Régulateur.
- This timepiece is a modern interpretation of a classic regulator design and Halter’s design philosophy, to be simultaneously classic and ultra-contemporary, retaining his sophisticated style yet not just a reduction and simplification of his work. The dial is finished with a smooth polish and sandblasted surface, creating a mesmerizing visual effect. The typography of the numerals and the hands are characteristic of Halter's style, whilst the notches on the crown pay homage to the rivet-studded crowns of the Antiqua, Classic and Trio.
