- With the Reverso Géographique, Jaeger-LeCoultre has crafted a watch of superlative ingenuity. This exceptional dual time complication allows the wearer to consult two distant locales with unrivaled precision.

- Rather than simply overlaying a second hour hand, Jaeger-LeCoultre dedicates an entire dial to the second time zone. This grants it dimensionality and detail exceeding that of conventional dual time watches.

- Symmetrically arrayed at six o'clock, two arched windows adeptly display the hours in separate cities, halfway around the world from each other. Adjacent indications of night and day, along with GMT references artfully illuminate the correct time on each turn of the globe.

- Complete with its full set of accessories and preserved in virtually unworn condition, the present Reverso Géographique numbered 396 of a limited edition of 500 pieces allows its wearer to master time itself, spanning the world with a glance at the wrist. Please note that the proceeds of the sale of the present watch will be given by the Consignor to various charities.

Jaeger-LeCoultre

Swiss | 1833

Not all companies in the watchmaking field have been able to stand the test of time quite like Jaeger LeCoultre, also known as the "watchmaker's watchmaker." Founded in 1833 by Antoine LeCoultre and originally named LeCoutre, the firm provided watchmaking's top brands, such as Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin and Audemars Piguet, the high-grade, unfinished mechanical movements with which they completed their watches.

In the early 1900s, Cartier's watch supplier Edmond Jaeger sought out LeCoultre's help in creating the world's thinnest watches. The collaboration resulted in the creation of Cartier's earliest Tank and Santos watches, all housed with LeCoultre movements. The duo decided to merge in 1937, and the firm officially became the Jaeger-LeCoultre brand by which collectors know and adore it today. Some of the firm's most significant and important timepieces include the Reverso, the Memovox, the Atmos clock and, among modern watches, their Master Complications.
