• The Hermès Arceau Le Temps Voyageur 38mm is a poetic reinterpretation of the world time complication, blending technical ingenuity with imaginative storytelling. Designed in collaboration with Jean-François Mojon, the watch features a floating sub-dial that displays local time and glides across a stylized map of an imaginary world called “Travelling Time.” This sub-dial moves in sync with the selected time zone, while home time is shown in a 24-hour format through an arched aperture at 12 o’clock.
• At the heart of the dial is the “Planisphère d’un monde équestre”, a whimsical map created by artist Jérôme Colliard. Inspired by Hermès’ equestrian heritage, the map depicts a fictional planet shaped by horse culture, with abstract landforms and playful references. Laser engraving and lacquer techniques add texture and depth, while blue meridians and parallels evoke motion and fantasy. The subdial gliding across this landscape transforms timekeeping into a poetic journey.
• Crafted from stainless steel, the 38mm case features Hermès’ signature Arceau design with asymmetrical lugs and refined finishing. Paired with its original matte blue crocodile strap, the watch is powered by the Hermès H1837 automatic movement, enhanced by a proprietary world-time module developed by Chronode.
