Francesco Vila is a self-taught watchmaker who aspired to create watches which amalgamate exclusive mechanism with unique design. Francesco Vila’s ambition motivated him to create his own brand, Franc Vila, in 2004. At the 2006 BaselWorld, Franc Vila was able to bring to the world - less than two years after the brand’s inception – the brand’s own movement, the Five-day Tourbillon Planétaire that equipped the FVN°1 model, as epitomized by the present watch. Featuring a flying tourbillion, this movement boasts an impressive 5-day power reserve.
