- Launched in 2004, the present Daniel Roth ref. 199.Y70 is a highly complicated timepiece, combining a tourbillon with a perpetual calendar featuring a retrograde date. It houses the newly developed DR740 movement - marking the first time an automatic tourbillon and perpetual calendar were brought together by Daniel Roth.
- Made as a limited edition of 15 pieces to celebrate the brand’s 15th anniversary, the present lot features a platinum case with 'XV YEARS' engraved on the caseback, along with a distinctive silver guilloché dial marked by three 'XV' engravings on the seconds sub-dial - making this early piece especially collectible.
