- The J12 collection, introduced by Chanel in 1999, has become an emblem of the fashion house and is highly regarded among their timepiece offerings. The name "J12" actually derives from the world of yacht racing, which is fitting given its association with the brand's vision in design aesthetics.
- One of the standout features of the J12 is its scratch-resistant ceramic case, which not only adds durability but also makes it suitable for watersports activities.
- To commemorate 17 years of J12, Chanel launched a couple of limited edition of 555 pieces for each white and black ceramic. An instant hit, the dial depicts Coco Chanel in cartoon form with articulated hands telling the time.
