Known for their exquisite style in high fashion and their magnificent jewels, Chanel first stepped into the world of horology in 1987 by launching the octagonal-cased Première cocktail watch. However, it was in 2000 when Chanel released the J12 collection featuring an all ceramic scratch resistance case in black and white. Regarded as a major breakthrough for the firm for having successfully integrated into the world of horology, the J12 was adored by many due to its unisex appeal. In 2019, the new J12 was awarded the ladies watch prize at the GPHG with their first in-house cal. 12.1.

The present Chanel J12 with a 42mm diameter black ceramic case with 18K yellow gold bezel from circa 2011 is offered with its full set of accessories and preserved in excellent overall condition.
