Good to know:
- Early Sympathie Perpetual Calendar in pink gold
- First example in 37mm pink gold to be seen on the auction market with all its accessories
- Lemania based movement with Dubuis and Wiederrecht co-designed retrograde module

- The Roger Dubuis Sympathie Perpetual Calendar epitomizes Geneva watchmaking excellence, setting the foundation for avant-garde watchmaking and spearheading the early independent watchmaking movement.

- The present early Sympathie Perpetual Calendar in pink gold, featuring a black dial, retains an elegant silhouette with a touch of sporty ambiance. Crafted from lapis lazuli, the moon phase disc at six o'clock creates a stunning night sky effect, showcasing the inherent beauty of the natural stone. Early models like the present example, showcase a glass that follows the gentle curves of the case, whilst visually impressive this was changed at a later stage for round glasses.

- The timepiece is available in two sizes, in a 37mm case and a smaller 34mm version. Released in a limited edition of 28 pieces, we believe the present example in such configuration, a larger case and in 18K pink gold, is offered for the first time on the auction market.

- Operating on the cal. RD5637, the movement is based on the Lemania cal. 2310, fitted with a bi-retrograde perpetual calendar module that is also used in Harry Winston watches, co-designed by Roger Dubuis and Jean-Marc Wiederrecht.

- Having received certification as a chronometer from the Besançon Observatory in France, the timepiece also proudly bears the Geneva Seal – a significant hallmark that held particular importance for Dubuis, influenced by his tenure at Patek Philippe. Quite notably, the master regulator that worked on the certification of this timepiece was Mr. Dubuis himself.

- Preserved in excellent overall condition, the present Sympathie is an exceptionally rare and early Roger Dubuis, further complete with its full set of accessories and certifications.
