The Vacheron Constantin Patrimony is a highly esteemed series, celebrated for its classical proportions and vintage aesthetics reminiscent of the 1990s. This reference marks the brand's inaugural modern tourbillon wristwatch, featuring the Vacheron Constantin caliber 1760. This movement incorporates a twin barrel system, enhancing the power reserve, while its skeletonized design allows a glimpse into its intricate mechanics.

The non-skeletonized 'Les Complications' variations were produced in extremely limited quantities, numbering only in the hundreds, while the present skeletonized version is believed to have an even lower production number at about 150 pieces produced.

This watch is not only a masterpiece of high horology but also a testament to Vacheron Constantin's long-standing tradition of creating complex timepieces. The meticulously finished tourbillon cage is crafted in the shape of Vacheron’s iconic Maltese Cross emblem.

The present example is well-preserved and virtually unworn, as evidenced by the even patina that has developed on the case during its time stored in a safe since purchase. Accompanied by its original certificate, this piece exemplifies Vacheron’s artisanship, showcasing not only the development of complications but also the aesthetic beauty of its movement construction.

Vacheron Constantin

Swiss | 1755
The world's oldest watch brand in continuous operation since its founding in 1755, Vacheron Constantin was the first watch company to manufacture movements with interchangeable parts beginning in 1839. Vacheron's watches are admired for their Latin-influenced case designs, well-balanced proportions and exquisitely finished movements of the highest quality. The Geneva-based manufacturer is known for their highly complicated masterpieces, including the King Farouk Grand Complication made in 1935, the Tour de l'Ile that was the most complicated serially produced wristwatch when introduced in 2005 and the 57260 — the world’s most complicated watch — made in 2015.

Key vintage models include minute repeating wristwatches such as the references 4261, chronographs such as the references 4178 and 6087 and the oversized Cioccolotone models such as ref. 4737. Collectors also appreciate Vacheron's Chronometer Royal pocket and wristwatches, as well as the '222,' the brand's first luxury sports watch produced from 1977 through 1984.
