完整圖錄內容
--Founded in 1846, Ulysse Nardin is recognized for their sophisticated precision timekeepers like 19th century marine and pocket chronometers, perpetual calendar pocket watches and uber rare early 20th century oversized split-chronograph wristwatches. In the 1980s, the brand underwent a revival introducing new complicated wristwatches including the San Marco collection, one of the first ever Jacquemart automaton repeating wristwatches. Made in collaboration with Christophe Claret, these automated mechanical marvels were made in limited editions and quickly appreciated by collectors for their nod to the golden age of precision timekeeping.
--The “Pin Up” limited edition platinum Jacquemart is a whimsical representation featuring an acrylic painted burlesque dancer in high heels, draped with peacock feathers and a flower in her hair. It is reminiscent of the popular models of the mid-20th century. Accompanying her is a peacock with flowing feathers. The movement utilizes a Sonnerie en Passant mechanism with the Jacquemart striking the hour when passing or on demand. When activated, the peacock feathers move back and forth revealing the dancer’s curvy figure. The pusher at the 2 o’clock allows the wearer to turn the hour striker on and off, while the pusher at 4 o’clock chimes the hour on demand.
--The present model, number 2 of 28 timepieces is in excellent overall condition, complete with its international warranty and presentation box.
