The present Ulysse Nardin San Marco Chronometer features a beautiful cloisonné enamel dial depicting the Rialto Bridge of Venice. Regarded as the city’s most famous sight, the Rialto Bridge was built in the 16th century, and for many years it was the only bridge connecting the two halves of the floating city. Portrayed through the method of cloisonné enameling, the meticulous process of achieving such scene required over 26 baking processes requiring over 50 hours to completion.
Released as a limited edition of 35 pieces in yellow gold and 10 pieces in platinum, the present example in platinum numbered 10 is the last example to have ever been produced. Preserved in excellent overall condition, the present timepiece is complete with its full set of accessories.
