- The present Kalpa Grande is cased in palladium, which is an uncommon material for watch cases. Slightly lighter than platinum, it has a similar silver-white colour that speaks elegance, taking the form of Parmigiani’s distinctive tonneau-shaped watchcase.
- The watch features a stepped dial, with guilloché at the periphery and a soothing matte grey centre. The dial consists of two sizes of Arabic numerals, and sharp hour indexes, matching with the pointed hands.
- Powering the present Kalpa is the cal. PF331, the very first self-winding mechanical movement from Parmigiani Fleurier with a 55-hour power reserve. Through the sapphire caseback, one can notice the delicate "Côtes de Genève" finishing and self-winding rotor decorated with guilloché.
