Created by the founder of MB&F Max Büssuer, M.A.D. 1 took the collecting community by storm when it was first announced. A disappointment for many, the project wasn’t a commercially available watch for sale to the public.

The creation of M.A.D. 1 was a tribute as a ‘thank you’ piece offered to close friends of the brand and collectors that are in ‘The Tribes’ a close circle collectors group that have shaped and stayed loyal with MB&F throughout the 16 years when the brand first started.

M.A.D. 1 with the avant-garde design is also the most affordable and most exclusive piece that the brand has created to date, priced at 1,900 CHF when it was first announced. At 42mm, fitted with a domed sapphire on the top to show the spinning signature triple-blade rotor is further decorated with Super LumiNova on each blade and when view in the dark while spinning is a sight to behold, the unusual time display is pieced by two aluminium cylinders and it showcases all the creativity and the unique display of time that M.A.D. Editions is all about.
