The present Galet Micro-Rotor was specially produced in a limited edition of 3 pieces to commemorate the 110th anniversary of Japanese retailer Kamine. Retaining the elegant curves, stepped bezel and onion crown on the stainless steel case, the white grand feu enamel dial inside is adorned by applied white gold Breguet numerals, and swept over by delicate white gold Breguet-style hands.
As Laurent Ferrier’s creations are mostly cased in precious metals, the present Galet Micro-Rotor is a rarity blessed with a steel case and Breguet numerals. It strikes a pleasant lightness on the wrist that would most certainly charm the wearer.
Offered in excellent overall condition, the present Galet Micro-Rotor is numbered 3 of a limited edition of only 3 pieces and is further accompanied by its original accessories, including a warranty stamped Kamine, Torroad Store, an esteemed retailer of jewellery and watches founded in 1906 and based in Kobe’s Motomachi district, near the historic area of Kyu-kyoryuchi (meaning "Former Foreign Settlement" in English), that has been running for more than a century, providing specialist knowledge to generations of Japanese watch collectors and connoisseurs.

Laurent Ferrier
Swiss | 2008Introducing its first watch to critical acclaim in 2010, Laurent Ferrier was founded by long-time Swiss watchmaker of the same name. Following a 37-year career at Patek Philippe, Ferrier founded the brand in 2008, creating timeless wristwatches inspired by the finest wrist and pocket watches from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Revered by collectors around the world for their genuine innovations and understated elegance, the brand specializes in exquisitely hand-finished movements featuring state-of-the-art watchmaking technology. Galet, or "pebble" in French, describes the signature feature of the brand's cases used across its collection — with soft curves, domed crystals and rounded edges reminding one of a smooth pebble.
Key models include the Galet Classic Tourbillon Double Spiral and the Galet Micro-Rotor, with stunning movement architectures designed after prestigious observatory chronometer movements of the twentieth century.
