First released to the public in 1951, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox was the firm’s first ever wristwatch to feature an alarm function with a manually wound movement. Standing out from the rest, the Memovox was most distinctive due to its iconic design featuring double crowns, one for setting the time and the other for setting the alarm. Since the release of the very first Memovox, the model has witnessed various upgrades in case materials and complications over the years.
In 2005, the firm released to the public the Grande Memovox Master Control equipped with a perpetual calendar, moon phases, alarm, year and decade indication. Featuring its distinctive double crowned case, the Master Control is certainly a classic timepiece with a contemporary flare. Highly technical and complicated, the cal. 909 is finished to perfection and of Jaeger-LeCoultre standards.
Presented in attractive overall condition, the present timepiece in 18K white gold is further charmed by its full set of accessories.

Jaeger-LeCoultre
Swiss | 1833Not all companies in the watchmaking field have been able to stand the test of time quite like Jaeger LeCoultre, also known as the "watchmaker's watchmaker." Founded in 1833 by Antoine LeCoultre and originally named LeCoutre, the firm provided watchmaking's top brands, such as Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin and Audemars Piguet, the high-grade, unfinished mechanical movements with which they completed their watches.
In the early 1900s, Cartier's watch supplier Edmond Jaeger sought out LeCoultre's help in creating the world's thinnest watches. The collaboration resulted in the creation of Cartier's earliest Tank and Santos watches, all housed with LeCoultre movements. The duo decided to merge in 1937, and the firm officially became the Jaeger-LeCoultre brand by which collectors know and adore it today. Some of the firm's most significant and important timepieces include the Reverso, the Memovox, the Atmos clock and, among modern watches, their Master Complications.
