Launched in 1985, the Da Vinci collection was a new insight towards the lineage of IWC. Featuring a perpetual calendar chronograph complication, it was one of the complicated models produced by the manufacturer in modern times. With an annual production of 2,000 pieces inclusive of other perpetual calendar models, it was fitted with a Valjoux 7750 based movement.
