- Commencing his career in the early 1980s at Patek Philippe, Franck Muller began creating his own wristwatches in 1984 and launched his eponymous brand in 1991. Sharing a background at Patek and admiring the Maison's elegant designs—particularly in chronographs—Muller went on to create one of his own with his brand in the 1990s and led to a great success even until now.

- In collaboration with Grail Watch and Wei Koh from Revolution, Muller reintroduced the present example, along with two other historical references from the 1990s, in a limited edition as a tribute to its founder. This homage not only maintains faithful designs but also incorporates identical, new-old-stock Lemania movements from the 90s.

- The present bi-compax model stays true to the original watches, featuring the same style, finish, and the characteristic flat, oversized vintage crown, along with large capped pushers. It retains the Breguet-style “12” and “6” along with the dot hour markers, preserving the aesthetics of the 1990s collection.

- Preserved in like-new condition and representing a true symbol of a bygone era when independent watchmaking was still in its infancy, this Chronograph Bi-Compax is complete with its set of accessories and is further numbered 45 out of a limited edition of just 50 examples made.
