Though the Octa Divine has undergone many iterations since it was first introduced as a smaller-cased watch for Journe’s smaller-wristed collectors, the first is the most pure and likely, the most recognizable. According to F.P. Journe, the brass movement Octa Divine in 36mm was only in production between 2003 and 2004, and fitted with the Octa caliber 1300. It was available with pink, yellow, or white gold dials, featuring a moon phase display, power reserve, and date aperture, the only early Octa with a central seconds feature.
Rarely seen in the wild, research shows that only seven individual examples have appeared at auction over the past two decades, with the highest serial number being 045, and the present 017 being the lowest. Even rarer, the present watch is accompanied by its original guarantee card and presentation box.
