- The revival of Czapek & Cie. in 2015 marked the continuation of the legendary watch manufacturer, releasing the Quai des Bergues collection, which was inspired by the historic pocket watch ref. 3430 created by François Czapek in the 1850s.
- In 2018, Czapek released a new edition of Quai des Bergues watches fitted with different colours of hand-engine-turned Guilloché Ricochet dials, such as Aqua Blue, Red Rhubarb, and the present Rhubarb Red. While most come in different size options, Rhubarb Red is only available in 38.5mm, and released as a limited edition of 10 pieces.
- Hand turned on a rose engine, the Guilloché Ricochet is a distinctive pattern by Czapek with two focal points. A red lacquer is then applied on the dial, which is paired with a strap of matching colour. The dial layout is also intriguing, with the subsidiary dials being positioned at the lower half of the dial. The power reserve indication, unlike usual gauge-like design, is presented as a weekday calendar. Powered by the in-house cal. SXH1 twin barrel movement, a full winding can provide energy for 7 days.
- Preserved in excellent condition with an abundant of accessories, this watch blends classic watchmaking artistry with modern techniques. It is surely a collectible, well-made timepiece that one should not miss.
