• Introduced in 2024 as part of a series of 4 new models all featuring aventurine glass dials, the present Antarctique Flying Diamonds is in fact, one of two prototypes for the larger case size with elongated trapezoidal-shaped diamond indexes. Eventually, the 40.5mm model would be produced in a series of only 8 pieces.
• The blue aventurine glass is inky and depthless, inspired by the polar sky. The interestingly shaped diamond indexes are a special shape designed by Czapek and their case supplier, GT Cadrans. Relieved of a date function in this iteration, the dial is uninterrupted, elegance balanced by the sportiness of the steel case.
• Powered by the micro-rotor caliber SXH5 combining sophistication and high reliability, the SXH5 merges high-end beveling techniques with avant-garde laser engravings. The movement has a free-sprung balance wheel with four gold adjustable weights, with a gear train held in place by skeletonized bridges that gives the movement incredible depth and intricacy.
• Fitted with a brushed integrated bracelet, with brushed links connected with highly polished center links in the form of a “C” for Czapek. The bracelet further features a quick-change system to allow the wearer to interchange it with the rubber strap that is decorated with the same trapezoid pattern found on the dial.
• Preserved in like new condition and likely unworn, it is offered as a complete set, with an easily changeable rubber strap, Czapek passport, and fitted presentation boxes.
