The Tank Cintrée, originally launched 1921, was an innovation, thanks to being both very thin and curved to fit the wrist. Much like the Tank, this model was produced in numerous variations but unlike its brother the Tank Americaine, this watch usually featured Breguet style hands, to enhance the lighter weight and style of the case. The 50 platinum re-editions were launched in 2004 and use the Cartier caliber measuring only 9 lignes. The modern version also shares the identical dimensions of the largest Cintrée watch, measuring 46 mm long and 23 mm wide.
