完整圖錄內容
- The timepiece presents a commanding yet refined presence, anchored by a deep black dial with brushed silvered Arabic numerals and luminous hands, ensuring legibility and classic style. The numeral "7" that distinguishes this reference possibly pays homage to the Ginza boutique's address, commemorated on the dial by a diamond-set marker at seven o'clock.
- It is worth nothing that in 2011, two new limited editions of this model were released in stainless steel and forged carbon in response to the devastating earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan earlier that year, with a portion of the proceeds directed to the Japanese Red Cross.
- The solid caseback is finely engraved 'Ginza', a sign of its exclusivity. As a numbered limited edition of 200 pieces commemorating Audemars Piguet’s global presence, this Offshore “Ginza” edition represents the celebration of craftsmanship in one of the world's most sophisticated luxury districts. Offered here with its full set of accessories.
Audemars Piguet
Swiss | 1881A specialist in the manufacture of complications since it was established in 1881, Audemars Piguet never ceases to impress with a rich history of creating bold, even audacious, timepieces underpinned by traditional watchmaking at its finest. This Le Brassus-based Swiss manufacturer is one of only two major manufacturers still owned by the founding family. Since its earliest days, AP is considered a leader in the field of minute repeaters and grande complication pocket and wristwatches. The brand is devoted to preserving the history of watchmaking in the Vallée de Joux, showcased at their superb museum in Le Brassus.
Today, the brand is best known for its Royal Oak models, a revolutionary luxury sports watch launched in 1972. Other key models include early minute repeating wristwatches, vintage chronograph wristwatches, such as the oversized reference 5020, perpetual calendar watches and the Royal Oak Offshore, first introduced in 1993.
