The Lady’s Minute Repeater Carillon is remarkable not only for its complexity but also for its scale: it is the smallest carillon repeater ever made and the most diminutive minute repeater on the market. This achievement required ten years of research and development, resulting in a movement of exceptional density. With roots stretching back to the maison’s long tradition of chiming watches, and building on its first wristwatch minute repeater of 1985, this creation represents the pinnacle of both technical ingenuity and artistic refinement. Unlike conventional repeaters with two hammers and two gongs, this Jules Audemars Lady’s Minute Repeater Carillon enriches the soundscape with a third hammer and gong, elevating the familiar “ding‑dong” into a luminous three‑note harmony—an achievement of rare sophistication in miniature horology.
Enscased within a 28mm platinum case with mirror-polished and satin-brushed surfaces, the manual cal. 2873 movement comes vibrantly to life when the minute repeater mechanism is engaged.
Offered in attractive overall condition with a clean and melodious tone, the present example awaits an owner who will relish its complexities whilst imbibing a fine vintage.
