An octagonal case with an integrated design, this is not the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, but very much part of the family, the Bamboo. Born during the post quartz crisis era, this funky spin off opened doors for a variety of designs with the manufacturer’s gem-setting capabilities. Cleverly combining cylindrical shapes reminiscent of bamboo stalks, the model were produced in various precious metal.
The present charming example in 18K white gold features a rich grey dial with a grained texture. Furthermore elevating its elegance are 11 diamonds set as hour markers around the dial, this Bamboo is accompanied with its original guarantee and presented in excellent overall condition.
