André Vassort is perhaps one of the most iconic jewelry designers and manufacturers of the 20th century yet remains relatively unknow. Opening his workshop in 1955 Vassort established pioneering designs with unparalleled craftsmanship, mixing precious and semi-precious stones and materials together. His creations were usually left unsigned and retailed by prestigious houses such as Van Cleef & Arpels, Mauboussin, and Boucheron under their respective names. Vassort works can be identified by his maker’s mark but more recognizable by his bold and innovative designs.
