Tourbograph Pour le Mérite

朗格,非常精細及罕有,鉑金腕錶,配陀飛輪、雙追針針時功能及芝麻鏈傳動系統,“Tourbograph Pour le Mérite” ,型號702.025F,限量生產51枚,編號第23號,約2011年製

Produced in a limited edition series of 51 watches, the Tourbograph, in platinum, by A. Lange & Söhne is one of the watchmaker's most complicated watches to date. While the company's first Tourbillon “Pour le Mérite” was first released in 1994, the present watch is a modern interpretation, further enhanced by the rattrapante chronograph, along with a power reserve indicator and fusée-and-chain transmission. The one minute tourbillon is the main feature of the watch, comprised of no less than 84 components. The rattrapante chronograph too is particularly striking, allowing for time laps to be measured.

Yet, above all, it is A. Lange & Söhne's craftsmanship which truly sets the watch apart. It takes 30 days just to assemble each watch, and only 12 examples were crafted in a year. The tourbillon bridge is completely hand finished and the components of the calibre L903.0 movement are painstakingly hand engraved. The present watch is offered in excellent overall condition.

A. Lange & Söhne

German | 1845

Originally founded in 1845 by Ferdinand Adolph Lange in Glashütte, Dresden, Germany, the firm established an entire watchmaking culture and industry in Glashütte. The brand quickly became Germany's finest watchmaker, first creating dependable, easy-to-repair watches before going on to produce some of the world's finest complicated pocket watches, including Grande Sonnerie watches, tourbillon watches and Grande Complications.

On the final day of World War II, their factories were destroyed by Russian bombers, and in 1948 the brand was confiscated by the Soviet Union. Following the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1990, Ferdinand's great grandson Walter Lange re-established the brand with the objective to once again produce top-quality luxury watches. Now part of the Richemont Group, its original vintage and modern creations are highly coveted by collectors. Key models from the modern era include the Lange 1, Pour Le Mérite Tourbillon and the Zeitwerk.
