The present Lange 1 Moon Phase reference 192.029 was released in 2016, boasting a new base movement and a splendid moon phase indication that shows the day and night as well. It was available in variations cased in white gold, pink gold and platinum. The present white gold specimen is arguably the most attractive as the gorgeous moon phase is accentuated against the sleek black dial. The day and night indication located behind the polished moon is represented by a bright sky blue for daytime and a stunning midnight blue adorned with 383 stars for nighttime. Both the moon and stars are made of white gold.

Encase in a highly wearable and desirable 38.5mm white gold case, the watch is powered by the manual caliber L 121.3, a fully in-house movement with a 72-hour power reserve.

Offered in exceptional condition, the present timepiece is further accompanied by its original accessories. Exemplifying A. Lange & Söhne’s superb craftsmanship and masterful design, the present watch is a timeless classic that should not be missed by the discerning connoisseurs.

German | 1845
Originally founded in 1845 by Ferdinand Adolph Lange in Glashütte, Dresden, Germany, the firm established an entire watchmaking culture and industry in Glashütte. The brand quickly became Germany's finest watchmaker, first creating dependable, easy-to-repair watches before going on to produce some of the world's finest complicated pocket watches, including Grande Sonnerie watches, tourbillon watches and Grande Complications.
On the final day of World War II, their factories were destroyed by Russian bombers, and in 1948 the brand was confiscated by the Soviet Union. Following the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1990, Ferdinand's great grandson Walter Lange re-established the brand with the objective to once again produce top-quality luxury watches. Now part of the Richemont Group, its original vintage and modern creations are highly coveted by collectors. Key models from the modern era include the Lange 1, Pour Le Mérite Tourbillon and the Zeitwerk.
