Wang Qingsong: In his photographs, he carefully reviews the implication of a wide range of social-economical problems in China from consumerism to national policies. His recent works are full of subjects who are aspiration and seem satisfied with the achievements of reform and rapid development, witnessing and emulating hopes and frustrations of Modern China. In his present lot, the uncomfortable hard wood master chair is constructed with massaging devices, sitting on it, we find ourselves in a mixed conflicting emotions.
