    The present pair of ceiling light comprises 36 individual glass elements that can be assembled in different configurations, an approach that was developed by Venini in the mid-1930s under the artistic direction of the architect Carlo Scarpa. The specific design of the present examples is recorded in the Catalogo Blu as 'Cordonato rigato' glass, patented by Venini as number 333411.
