The only known impression, with pencil notations by the artist's wife Dorothy Dehner at the left margin 'This etching was made by David Smith in 1946, on his own press at Bolton Landing, NY. It is one of a small group of prints he did at this time. There were no editions - just artist's proofs. Signed: Dorthy Dehner (married to David Smith 1927-1952)' and also similarly annotated in pencil on the reverse, framed.
