CAR221B.FC6350 With fewer than 20 original examples of the “Skipperera” reference 7754 to have ever been found, the 1967 commissioned Chronograph has become somewhat of a cult TAG Heuer reference amongst vintage watch collectors. In 2017, Hodinkee reimagined one of their (allegedly) favourite Chronographs, and gave us a modernised 39mm version of the Carrera Skipper, created in partnership with TAG Heuer. Made in a limited edition of 125 watches, this chronograph stays true to the line’s historical models – the pops of orange, dark blue and light green match both the original Skipper 7754, as well as the “Heuer” inscription.
