Silver Surfer was a fictional Marvel Comic book superhero, created by the
writer Stan Lee and the artist Jack Kirby. The character first made his
appearance in the March 1966 issue of The Fantastic Four. Silver Surfer was
endowed with the power to generate powerful blasts and to rearrange
    molecules.The galaxy-cruising protector’s mode of transportation
consisted of a silver surfboard which responded to the Silver Surfer’s
mental commands. Marvel Comic books failed at previous attempts of
giving the character a feature role in his own comic book but reattempted a
solo issue in 1987, the same year Steven Parrino painted the present lot.
