PHILLIPS’ HONG KONG JEWELS AUCTION ON 27 MARCH SHOWCASES THE FINEST COLOURED GEMSTONES AND DIAMONDS
HONG KONG – 27 February 2025 – Phillips is pleased to unveil a stunning selection of exceptional jewels from The Hong Kong Jewels Auction, led by an exquisite array of rare coloured gemstones and dazzling coloured diamonds, taking place on 27 March. The sale will also feature exceptional jadeite and signed pieces from renowned jewellers, offering a unique opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts. Highlights from the sale will be showcased in Bangkok from 11-12 March, and Taipei from 14-16 March, before returning to Hong Kong where the jewels will be on view to the public from 21-27 March prior to the sale. Phillips will also host Hong Kong Jewels: Online Auction in tandem with the live auction, which will be open for bidding from 21 March to 1 April.

Precious Coloured Gemstones
This Spring, the Hong Kong Jewels Auction presents an exquisite selection of rare and highly sought-after coloured gemstones. Highlights include a stunning ruby and diamond bracelet featuring very fine rubies totalling 33.66 carats and a Burmese unheated ruby and diamond necklace with rubies totalling 38.80 carats. Burmese rubies are particularly prized for their vibrant, pigeon-blood red colour, making them highly desirable among collectors. For sapphire enthusiasts, the sale offers a Burmese unheated sapphire and diamond bracelet boasting approximately 40.52 carats of sapphires, complemented by 9.87 and 8.59-carat Burmese unheated sapphire and diamond earrings. Burmese sapphires are renowned for their regal blue hue, which resembles nobility and is highly sought after by collectors and connoisseurs. Moreover, Colombian emeralds are celebrated for their vibrant green colour, often associated with prosperity and growth. At this season’s sale, emerald lovers will be captivated by the 13.65-carat Colombian emerald and diamond ring, as well as the Colombian no oil emerald and diamond bracelet with emeralds totalling 16.51 carats. Among the highlights are the exquisite 5.01-carat very light pink diamond and 5.00-carat faint pink diamond earrings, a unique asscher-cut 5.51-carat fancy vivid yellow diamond and diamond ring, and the stunning 6.49 and 6.10-carat fancy intense yellow diamond and diamond ear pendants.
