Phillips is honored to support the New Museum's major survey of Raymond Pettibon (b. 1957, Tucson, Arizona). As part of our global arts partnerships program in 2017, this sponsorship affirms our commitment to the world's preeminent museums and public galleries.

Pettibon was a major figure in the 1980s Los Angeles punk scene and gained notoriety for his work on advertisements, zines and record covers. For over 30 years he has developed a distinctive visual universe in chronicling the history and mythology of American culture, featuring emblematic figures like Charles Manson, Ronald Reagan and Superman.

Curated by Gary Carrion-Murayari, Kraus Family Curator, and Massimiliano Gioni, Edlis Neeson Artistic Director, "Raymond Pettibon: A Pen of All Work" presents more than 700 drawings from the 1960s to the present in addition to unique self-produced zines, artist books and videos made in collaboration with musicians and fellow artists.

Visit the New Museum to learn more about the artist's brash and iconoclastic style. #RaymondPettibon
