L'Esprit Nouvreau was a magazine edited and designed by Le Corbusier and Amedee Ozenfant in 1921 which aimed to take post-Cubist art and architecture to a new form termed Purism.  The new spirit represented the ideas of a new society that advocated the use of modern industrial techniques and strategies to transform society into a more efficient environment with a higher standard of living on all socioeconomic levels.
