  • Catalogue Essay

A collection of rings designed by Bethan during her residency with AAA Cercasi Nuovo Artigiano, made in collaboration with artisan Eugene Lovato & Arduino Zappaterra.
Pivot is takes inspiration from the metal work found on building lining in the streets and roads of Vicenza. It is based on the simplicity of the laser cutting process, using clean graphical shapes and simple mechanisms, these rings use their method of construction to form the decoration resulting in no need for a stone. Each ring can 'pivot' or 'push' to create different ways of wearing and encourage interaction between its self and its owner.
