Signed Jewellery Pieces with Extraordinary Designs

Signed jewellery distinguished by extraordinary design remains highly coveted among collectors, celebrated not only for its exquisite craftsmanship but also for its historical significance. This season’s sale showcases a curated selection of iconic creations from the world’s most prestigious jewellery houses. Among the highlights is a 5.10-carat emerald-cut diamond ring — a quintessential embodiment of Harry Winston’s artistry and enduring legacy. Other notable pieces include an alluring panther brooch by Van Cleef & Arpels; a Piaget necklace featuring cultured pearls and diamonds, elegantly adorned with a floral clasp and cascading strands—the same model famously worn by Natalie Portman in the Oscar-nominated film Jackie, where she received a nomination for Best Actress; and a bold, sculptural gold and diamond bracelet from Tiffany & Co. Phillips is delighted to present three exquisite creations from Cindy Chao’s acclaimed ‘Ribbon Collection’ this season: a bangle, a ring, and a pair of ear pendants. Among them is the mesmerising ‘Ribbon’ diamond bangle— a breathtaking testament to the designer’s ability to sculpturally transform precious metal into fluid forms that connect the boundaries between jewellery and art.

Among all the colours found in natural jadeites, the most prized is green, followed by lavender colour, which symbolises elegance. A nod to traditional elegance is a jadeite cabochon and diamond ring, with its evenly high dome, fine crystal structure, and the subtle glow evokes a sense of understated sophistication. Another highlight is a strand of lavender jadeite bead, ruby and diamond necklace with matching ear pendants. Lavender jadeite is gaining popularity among young collectors due to its mesmerising pastel hue, which aligns with contemporary aesthetics and fashion trends, as well as its rarity and symbolic associations with peace and emotional balance. Its simple silhouette offers a fresh, contemporary twist on a culturally significant gemstone, allowing younger generations to reconnect with heritage while expressing individuality.

A True Miracle of Nature

Natural Pearl and Diamond Necklace

Estimate: HK$800,000–1,200,000/ US$103,000–154,000

Natural pearls are cherished not only for their timeless beauty, but also for their rarity, storied history, and emotional resonance. Increasingly scarce due to environmental factors, they have become highly coveted by collectors. Beyond their legacy of prestige and elegance, natural pearls offer soft luster and a spectrum of hues that complement a wide range of styles and skin tones. A standout highlight this season is a round to roundish natural pearl necklace — an exceptionally rare and prized treasure. Perfectly round shapes are uncommon, as natural pearls form organically without human intervention, resulting in varied silhouettes. Truly round or near-round pearls are the rarest of all, making the creation of a harmoniously matched strand a remarkable feat of patience and precision.
