Phillips Perpetual Announces Made in Germany, a Tribute to the Early Lange 1 and Datograph
An Exhibition of Lange 1 and Datograph Watches from 1994 to 2008

LONDON – 22 FEBRUARY 2022 – Phillips Perpetual is honoured to showcase an exhibition dedicated to the early production Lange 1 and Datograph from 1994 through to 2008. The exhibition presents a unique opportunity to celebrate and demonstrate the work of A. Lange & Söhne, and the scholarship surrounding the references that have become iconic in design and trophy items for collectors of high horology. With over 20 of the finest and rarest examples of the Lange 1 and Datograph on view, the exhibition looks to offer the collector an unparalleled physical exploration in the evolution of fonts, dials and limited production watches. The exhibition will open for public view at Phillips Perpetual showroom at 30 Berkeley Square, from 9 to 14 March.
The watches included in Made in Germany, a Tribute to the Early Lange 1 and Datograph are for scholarship exhibition only. Alongside these exceptional watches will be an exclusive selection of A. Lange & Söhne highlights from Phillips’ upcoming spring auctions, as well as a number of curated offerings for private sale.

Highlights include one of just ten Platinum Datograph reference 402.025x made for Milanese Retailer Pisa Orologeria, as well as one of thirty Lange One watches cased in steel, and a selection of fine and rare early Lange pieces from the brands’ historical relaunch.
