HONG KONG – 30 September 2026 – Phillips concluded The Hong Kong Jewels Auction on 29 September, achieving a total of over HK$37.2 million/ US$4.74 million. Of the 91 lots offered, 79% were sold by lot and 74% by value.
Diana Chang, Head of Sale, Hong Kong, Phillips Jewels, said, “This season’s sale in Hong Kong was led by coloured diamonds, which accounted for five of the top 10 lots in The Hong Kong Jewels Auction. Leading the group was a 23.34-carat fancy intense yellow diamond ring, which realised over HK$4.3 million/US$550,991, achieving 1.2 times its pre-sale estimate. Demand for signed jewels remained exceptionally strong, achieving a 100% sell-through rate. The category nearly doubled its pre-sale estimates, with 47% of lots selling above their pre-sale high estimates. Coveted creations by Harry Winston, Tiffany & Co., Bulgari, and Cartier achieved outstanding results well above their pre-sale high estimates. Buccellati was a particular standout this season, with collectors responding enthusiastically to the maison's distinctive blend of timeless elegance and artisanal craftsmanship, reaffirming the enduring appeal of exceptional signed jewels.”
