NEW YORK – 25 APRIL 2025 – Phillips, in partnership with The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation (TMJF), are proud to announce a partnership benefitting the two-time Super Bowl Champion’s eponymous non-profit organization. On 14 May, Phillips New York’s Day Sale of Modern and Contemporary Art will feature artworks donated directly by artists such as Tavares Strachan, Adrian Armstrong, Yoyo Lander, Hebru Brantley, Dominic Chambers, and Anthony Akinbola, all in support of TMJF’s critical mission to create positive change in the lives of youth, particularly those in underserved communities. The auction follows an event hosted by Jenkins with support from the NFLPA (National Football League Players Association) and PAF (Professional Athletes Foundation) this past February in tandem with Super Bowl LIX, where Phillips, Jenkins and TMJF joined forces in New Orleans to host a panel discussion on the topic of collecting fine art, watches, and jewels in addition to showcasing works from artists brought in for the Super Bowl festivities. This partnership marks the first time that the auction house has organized a Modern & Contemporary Art auction in partnership with a professional athlete.

Malcolm Jenkins, the Founder and Chairman of The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation and CEO of Malcolm Inc. said, “This partnership represents the convergence of culture, community, and purpose. Through The Game of Art and now the Phillips auction, we’re not just bringing art to the forefront — we’re reinvesting in our youth and spotlighting the creative voices shaping the world. I’m honored to have the support of these contemporary artists and Phillips.”

Ferguson Amo, Associate, Modern & Contemporary Art, said, “It is an honor to work with a multi-hyphenate such as Malcolm and The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation in raising funds and awareness for such a worthy cause. Malcolm’s generosity knows no bounds, and he has used his influence to promote positive change, creating innovative programs and opportunities for the youth in the communities his foundation serves. We are so grateful to him for his tireless work on this front and to all the artists who have graciously donated works of art to this endeavor.”

Among the works from the upcoming Day Sale of Modern & Contemporary Art to benefit The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation are Tavares Strachan’s We Are in This Together (Pink), Adrian Armstrong’s Luke 15:24, and Yoyo Lander’s Helen. Additional works will be announced in the lead-up to the sale.

Highlights from the group will be on view at Phillips Los Angeles from 22-24 April, followed by the public exhibition in New York from 3-13 May.
