Seven artist records were set, and we were pleased to see works by icons such as Sigmar Polke and Richard Prince and Danish artists Per Kirkeby and Tal R feature in the top ten. There was spirited bidding in the room, on the phones and online, with strong international participation from across 58 countries worldwide. The results achieved are testament to the strength of the middle market. We look forward to our upcoming contemporary sales in our new galleries in West Kowloon, Hong Kong on 30 and 31 March.”
