ART FOR CHANGE AND PHILLIPS ANNOUNCE FULLY BLOOMED
A SPECIAL GROUP EXHIBITION TO COINCIDE WITH FRIEZE LA
Featuring Original Works By Artists Allison Zuckerman, Kour Pour, Amir H. Fallah, Madeleine Bialke, Tessa Perutz, Hiba Schahbaz, Maggie Ogden, Pedro Pedro, Darryl Westly, Caris Reid, Becky Kolsrud, and Vanessa Prager

FEBRUARY 13 2024, New York, NY – ART FOR CHANGE, a leading platform that connects art collectors with in-demand contemporary artists and their work, and Phillips, the preeminent destination for 20th and 21st century works of art, are pleased to announce Fully Bloomed. An exhibition of original artworks curated by ART FOR CHANGE, the works will be on view and available via private sale February 24 – March 15, 2024 during Frieze LA at Phillips’ LA outpost, located at 9041 Nemo Street. Best known for their museum-quality limited edition prints, this exhibition marks the debut of a curated presentation of original artworks for ART FOR CHANGE. With environmental conservation a central tenet of ART FOR CHANGE’s mission, the artists invited for this exhibition confront and contribute to the move toward sustainability by exploring nature and the environment through content, methods, inspiration, or process. In conjunction with the exhibition, ART FOR CHANGE and Phillips will plant 1,000 trees to help counter the CO2 emissions produced by the art industry. In addition to the original works on offer, ART FOR CHANGE will exhibit a selection of limited edition prints by artists Danielle Orchard, Joel Mesler, Hyegyeong “G” Choi, Laura Berger, Soumya Netrabile, Amy Lincoln, Marcus Brutus, Jules de Balincourt, Danielle de Jesus, Maria Calandra, Jon Key, and Zoe McGuire.

Fully Bloomed represents ART FOR CHANGE’s first original show of this magnitude, consisting primarily of ART FOR CHANGE artists with whom the platform has spent years fostering relationships. Each original work by Allison Zuckerman, Kour Pour, Amir H. Fallah, Madeleine Bialke, Tessa Perutz, Hiba Schahbaz, Maggie Ogden, Pedro Pedro, Darryl Westly, Caris Reid, Becky Kolsrud, and Vanessa Prager transverses nature and the environment in a way that – in some cases – has not yet been explored by the artist. Allison Zuckerman, whose work typically remixes art history and contemporary culture with an emphasis on female empowerment, will be exhibiting her very first landscape painting in honor of the theme; Madeleine Bialke is showcasing two paintings that represent the climate crisis and how it colors both the natural world we live alongside, as well as our internal landscapes; Kour Pour, whose work often deals directly and indirectly with the natural world, is showcasing a painting based on the tradition of Korean Minhwa painting that features a tiger to serve as a symbol of the endangered animals that exist in landscapes marred by deforestation; and Caris Reid will be displaying three paintings that serve as a reminder of the ecosystem that we as humans share with our animals and nature, and the responsibilities we have to protect and honor the earth.
