Phillips Names David Lou as

New Member of the Advisory Board for Watches

GENEVA – 14 March 2019 – Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. David Lou as a new member of its Advisory Board. With art collectors as parents, Mr. Lou was exposed to auctions from a young age and developed a strong interest for collectibles, particularly for vintage watches. As a teenager, he started visiting watch stores and studying timepieces hands-on as he began to build his own collection. At first Mr. Lou focused on pocket watches, before shifting his attention to vintage wristwatches. Now living in Japan, he continues to cultivate his great passion for watches.

Aurel Bacs, Senior Consultant, said, “It is an immense pleasure and privilege to welcome David to our distinguished Advisory Board. Since my first meeting with David, I was impressed by his impeccable style, deep knowledge and sense for quality – values we at Phillips share and aspire to. I look forward to sharing many constructive dialogues with David in the future and learning from him.”
