rich diversity of artists included in this sale platform. With strong
sell-through rates of 90% by value and 84% by lot, the sale was led by Anish
Kapoor’s Monochrome (Lilac), whose work is the recent focus of an exhibition at
Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery in London. We were delighted to include an
exciting section of work sold to benefit Migrate Art, totalling £148,065, with
proceeds going towards improving the lives of refugees. Barry Reigate’s
partnership with MATCHESFASHION.COM received an enthusiastic response with six
doors sold to benefit Carney’s Community. Further top results were achieved for
Damien Hirst, Urs Fischer, Ai Weiwei and Peter Halley.”
