Phillips in Association with Bacs and Russo presents Hong Kong Watch Auction: THREE

Including the Patek Philippe Skymoon Tourbillon – one of the world’s most complicated collector’s watches to take place in Hong Kong on 29 November 2016

HONG KONG – 3 NOVEMBER 2016 – This season, Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo will offer the most sought-after and rare watches available on the market today. Following two market leading auctions in Asia, both of which achieved notable record prices, Phillips is proud to present the finest collectable timepieces in Hong Kong this fall. The sale includes a curated selection of wristwatches, pocket watches and clocks, both vintage and contemporary masterpieces, as well as previously unseen timepieces which come to auction for the first time. Comprising 300 lots, the sale is expected to realise in excess of HKD 100 million and will be held in the Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong on 29 November 2016.

Sam Hines, International Head of Watches and Deputy Chairman of Asia: “The international team of specialists and I are honoured to present a diverse and exceptional range of some of the world’s most coveted timepieces. The sale represents the spirit of watch collecting, one of scholarship and an interest in the broad history of the watch. The sale is led by one of the most important wristwatches, the Skymoon Tourbillon, created by Patek Philippe; as well as two of the brand’s highly exclusive and unique vintage minute repeaters; and contemporary pieces with previously unseen special dials. In addition to these masterpieces, Phillips will offer a Patek Philippe singing bird box with watch, and contemporary pieces by cutting-edge independent makers including Philippe Dufour, Roger Smith and MB&F.”
