Simon Tovey, Head of the New Now Sale in London, said: “What a way to end the season! Marking the highest ever result for a New Now sale in London and with solid sell-through rates of 91% by value and 84% by lot, we saw notably strong prices achieved for works by Daniel Richter, KAWS, and Peter Halley. This fantastic result marks the mounting international appeal for works by both emerging and established artists alike. We’re especially pleased to have set a new world auction record for Stik’s 'Big Mother', which sold for over seven times its pre-sale estimate, selling for £193,750 with proceeds going to a very worthy cause.”
